Via Trump Social — Trump leveraged a violent weekend in Chicago (41 shot, 3 dead) to declare the city “will die” unless leaders hand over control, ending with an all-caps demand: “Governor Pritzker, CALL!!!” Shouting on a public megaphone instead of just picking up the phone isn't problem-solving. A normal person who actually wants to fix something goes straight to the source. Posting ultimatums online is pure performance that stokes panic, shifts blame, and ultimately just drives a deeper wedge between us and our families.

Since when did begging Washington to take over municipal police departments become conservative? Cheering for an all-powerful federal "crime-fighting machine" to drop the hammer over a single weekend's headlines isn't strength; it is an open invitation for a big-government police state. The moment we normalize letting the federal government steamroll state lines and local authority, the 10th Amendment and local self-governance are completely out the window.
